May I introduce you

Long story short: I had free time between classes in school and decided to write about a few characters for The city never sleeps. Erika will be the main character in the series, but she won't be alone so I thought that I might as well write about them too.

Erika Garrett:
Memories cover these streets. Memories both good and bad, of joy and of sorrow. These streets are the ones she walked so long ago. Not knowing what hid underneath the calm surface.
This is where it all takes place.
A loud gunshot breaks the silence of the city that never sleeps.
A light throws its reflection on the walls from a pair of sunglasses and their owner feels how the adrenalin rush starts to subside.
The blood on the walls reeks of the death and pain the creature caused.
She doen't enjoy the thrill of the creature's death, but knows all too well that someone has to take that responsibility. For her loved ones sake, for her brothers, she must bear this burden.

Sheri Cole:
She hears the steps thundering before her. She starts to close up on her target.
That thing doesn't deserve to live after what it had done. None of those things do.
The music thumps louder and louder in her earphones. She hastens her pace.
The creature hits a dead end. She pulls the blades out from her pockets. Now it's time for revenge, revenge for what they did to her beloved Elijah.
She sees how the thing twists and turns in hope of finding a way to escape. She let's the pleasure of its fear intoxicate her mind. With a bloodthirsty grin she approaches the doomed monster.
  - Shall we dance?

Faron Perez:
Calmly the man once more looked through his notes and maps. There was no room for errors, since so many trusted him with their lives. He knew that this was a risky operation, but it was worth taking.
The plan was a bit unfair though; for the creatures wouldn't have a chance against them.

Elijah Cole:
A dark figure sat on the roof watching the lively streets below. He took out a picture, and no matter how much it hurt he couldn't stop looking at it.
It reminded him of the times when everything had been so perfect and normal. When he and his beloved had walked those streets below together.
But then the overwhelming darkness had come and he had foolishly surrendered to it.
